Trippin started from a simple frustration: every time we planned a trip, we'd spend hours scrolling Instagram reels, saving Reddit threads, and juggling 15 browser tabs — only to end up at the same tourist traps as everyone else.

Origin

Our Story

We're a small team of travelers and engineers based in India who believe the best travel recommendations come from real people, not algorithms. We noticed that the creators we followed on Instagram and TikTok consistently found better spots than any guidebook or travel platform could offer.

So we built Trippin — an AI travel agent that scrapes, categorizes, and structures the best travel content from across the internet, then pairs you with a vetted local fixer who lives the city you're chasing.

How it works

    Content aggregation

    Continuously scrape Instagram Reels, TikTok, Reddit, YouTube and travel blogs via automated pipelines.

    AI categorization

    Each piece of content is analyzed with LLMs to extract locations, categories, pricing, and quality signals.

    Vector embedding

    Every spot is embedded into a vector database — semantic search by vibe, budget, and travel style, not keywords.

  4. 04
    Itinerary generation

    Your destination, dates, and preferences become a day-by-day plan assembled from the most relevant creator-sourced spots.

  5. 05
    Creator attribution

    Every recommendation credits the original creator who discovered it. Credit where it's due.

As of June 2026 the pipeline has processed thousands of dispatches from Instagram Reels, TikTok, Reddit and YouTube across our launch corridor. Data refreshes continuously.

Top-5 by creator density: India (2,567 dispatches · 162 cities), Vietnam (770 · 52), Japan (734 · 151), Thailand (611 · 80), Indonesia (313 · 31). New countries open as creator coverage clears our quality threshold.
